12-hours of Monza Special Event

The summer is all over us and many may already be enjoying their vacation with their family, friends and do what they truly love.  We are though certain that many of our followers and friends of the Simracing communities are enjoying their free time on their number one hobby: Simracing and that’s entirely the reason why we at GTR24h are doing another Special Event this summer- This time we will be visiting the brand new Monza race track by Studio397 in rFactor2.  The Autodromo Nazionale di Monza also known as Monza or Temple of Speed is a historic racetrack north of the city of Milan in Italy. The Famous track was built in 1922 and designed by the architect Alfredo Rosselli and the site today holds 3 different track layouts – The 5.793-kilometer Grandprix track, The 2.4kilometre Junior track, and the 4,2-kilometer highspeed Overall track(Reestablished in 2010). Monza also holds a more sad record as more than 52 drivers lost their life at this high-speed track due to its immense speeds.
